Uncle Thrills is an independent record label based in San Francisco. Founded in 1997, Uncle Thrills concentrates on promoting promising local talent with professional booking, recording, promotion and distribution services.

The Sam Kinison of Rock 'n' Roll. You can't miss Burke and his fellow Hilburns. Check out their tour dates and downloadables at www.mp3.com/burke/ and look for their first album set for release in September, 2001. With the CD release, Burke is planning tours in the Western US for the fall of 2001. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young on CRACK. Look for them in your neighborhood, and make sure your daughter stays home.

This power trio is currently recording with producer Ed Goldfarb (of Apocalypse Now and Slow Poisoners fame), and set for a CD release in November of 2001. Sex and outer space, in glampop that won't leave you alone. These Cosmonauts are worth the wait. See Electric Girl (batteries not included).

Unsweetened is an acoustic trio - drums, guitar, violin/lap steel - flared with Maria McKee, Caetano Veloso, Chaka Khan, Mozart, Brian Eno and Cantonese Opera. Their first, self-titled CD is available now through Uncle Thrills (inquire by e-mail below). Look for their second release set for February, 2002.
